Position: Inside Sales Representative

Location: Fairfield, CT

Seeking a well rounded, recent college graduate for an inside sales representative position, marketing mobility technology products and services. Job responsibilities include all aspects of sales to enterprise, education and healthcare accounts. Specific functions include: prospecting and cold-calling, account profiling, pipeline creation, coordinating pre-sales network design calls, unsolicited proposals, collaborative engagement of internal engineering resources, post-sale management, and ultimate customer satisfaction and loyalty. Successful candidates will be entered into Sagamore’s two-year, on the job, professional sales training program and will be provided advanced technology training.

Skills required:

  • College degree – BA/BS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills. (Must have excellent phone presence with an outgoing, positive personality)

  • Multitasking: The ability to simultaneously manage & move forward multiple sales opportunities through the sales cycle.

  • Sales Effectiveness: The ability to find, develop & close sales opportunities.

  • Business Acumen: The ability to understand & add value to the customer’s business model.

  • Adaptive: The ability to modify strategy & tactics to adjust to changes in competitive, economic & market conditions.

  • Background in, and/or understanding of, networking technologies, mobility technologies, and commercial enterprise environments is a plus. However, we will train the right candidate.
